Rhode Island Black Heritage Opens New Exhibit
The history of African American education is on full display beginning this month until September at The John Brown House with 'Learn Your Lessons Well: Black Education in Rhode Island'. Featuring items from both the Black Heritage archives as well as private collections, the showcase includes items related to everyday students as well as notable figures like Rudolph Fisher.
